Damage Policy and Procedure

Damaged Flooring Policy

All flooring materials must be inspected immediately upon delivery or pickup. Please inspect the material, boxes, cartons, and pallets before signing the delivery receipt. Any visible damage, shortages, or incorrect materials must be noted on the delivery paperwork and reported to us within 24 hours of receipt. Failure to notate damage on the delivery paperwork may result in denial of claims by the manufacturer, carrier, or seller.

We are not responsible for damage or shortages that are reported after the delivery and past the 24 hour damage report window. We are not responsible for defects or color variations that are reported after the flooring has been installed, cut, or altered. Installation of flooring constitutes acceptance of the material.

Natural variations in color, grain, texture, and shading are inherent characteristics of flooring products and are not considered defects.

Failure to inspect materials prior to installation may result in denial of claims by the manufacturer, carrier, or seller.
